Emperor Barack Obama (“Rasobamian”)

I believe there may be a solution for getting rid of our wannabe “King” Obama.  Just about monthly he makes some kind of declaration to bypass Congress and the will of the American people (many of those who voted for him really didn’t know what they were doing) to further his Neocom agenda of ruling us peons.  He changes the law at will, a la Hugo, and with the exception of patriotic bloggers, some brave congressmen and one news organization, no one of influence seems to care.  If we start now, by the time he finishes his term in office he might be ready to go, as in leave the U.S.

There are thousands of people around the world who worship the late Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie.  A new religion was spawned during the early part of the twentieth century in Jamaica called “Rastafarianism.”  It came about as the result of a Jamaican “prophet” who prophesied, “Look up to Africa where a black king shall be crowned, he shall be the redeemer.”  Shortly thereafter, in 1928, Haile Selassie was crowned Emperor of Ethiopia thereby conveniently fulfilling the prophesy.  And so the religion Rastafarianism was born.  The term “Ras” means “Head” and “Tafari” was the birth first name of Emperor Selassie.

The religion considered Selassie to be the incarnation of God in the Biblical linage of King Solomon and supposedly the Queen of Sheba.  There was to be an eventual repatriation of Africans back to the homeland led by their savior Selassie.  Even with the death of Selassie in 1975, which his followers called a “disappearance,” there are still some 200,000 to 800,000 Rastafarians worldwide.  They were originally characterized, in Jamaica, by their dreadlocks, reggae music, and some strange beliefs that may be explained by their sacred use of cannabis.  Current emphases have changed to a variety of social/planet causes but their deification of Haile Selassie as eventual deliverer still remains.

In addition to the self-attribution that with Obama as president, future generations would look back and say, “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and the planet began to heal” (nomination acceptance speech), at a campaign rally on Jan. 7, 2008, he told the audience that, “a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Barack Obama.”

Much hullaballoo took place when Newsweek magazine pictured Obama on its online publication cover with the headline, “The Second Coming.”  A one hundred days-in-office painting depicted Obama in the oval office with a crown of thorns and arms extended as if on a cross.  A professor at Florida A&M wrote a book titled “The Gospel According to Apostle Barack.”  She commented that she “felt God’s Spirit beckoning me in my dreams at night” to “go on a journey with Apostle Barack.”  A recent video showed a small child, obviously with parental approval, praying to Barack Obama as though praying to God.

These are but a small sampling of the myriad of “messiah” type comments and writings that give seeming deity status to Obama   While the majority are adoration excesses, there are some, delusional, that seem to be serious.  It’s no wonder that this crazy messianic tone took hold even if it was in ridicule much of the time.  The media accepts his divine appointment and seemingly really believes he can do no wrong.  In spite of his dismal failure as president, there are almost no media voices reconsidering, as his minions, the Progressive Pagan Party (Democrats), worship their political savior.

So I think it’s time to convince more people especially those of a Rastafarian bent that their dreams of a deliverer have come true.  There are many, including Obama who believe that America is nothing but a racist nation of evil white people exploiting and subjugating minorities. Many want a return to their homeland of Africa to establish a superior culture.  Such has been the goal of the “Black Nationalist” Rastafarian religion.

This is a prime opportunity for Obama to become the incarnation of the late Haile Selassie.  It would seem a natural step from his current divine position to that of Emperor of Ethiopia to fulfill the “prophesy.”  Perhaps the name of the movement could change to reflect their new deity.  How about changing from “Rastafarian” to “Rasobamian?”  If strange beliefs and cannabis use are important, he fits the bill.  I would even support our tax money to be used for moving expenses.   No dual citizenship, however, we would not want him back.
